Early Life and Background

Macarena Achaga Figueroa was born on March 5, 1992, in Mar del Plata, Argentina. She is the eldest child of architect parents and has a younger brother, Santiago Achaga, who is also involved in the entertainment industry. At the age of 15, Macarena began her modeling career, traveling weekly from Mar del Plata to Buenos Aires to pursue opportunities. She signed with Pink Model Management and later with Multitalent Agency, working with various Argentine clothing brands and appearing in magazines such as Para Ti, Joy, and Cosmopolitan Argentina. 

Transition to Acting and Music

In 2010, Macarena co-hosted the Argentine version of MTV's "Los 10+ Pedidos," marking her entry into television. Her acting debut came in 2012 with the role of Leonora Martínez in the Mexican teen telenovela "Miss XV." She was also a member of the pop group Eme 15, formed from the show's cast, which gained popularity in Latin America. ​
